So a few months ago I was told to sign up for the PetSmart PlayUp. I got an email today saying my SL recognized me, and I got 1,000 points. I’m not sure how it all works. But I noticed it said my hire date was 5/25/20(I think when I signed up I’m not sure), but I actually started 11/16/19. I was wondering if that even mattered??? Does my hire date on PlayUp have to be correct??? And if so, how do I go about changing it?? Thank you in advance!
Has anyone had an issue with disappearing PlayUp points? I got 1000 today and went to the website to get a gift card with them and the 1800 I had already, and they're gone. I didn't use them but my balance is now 0. I checked my order history and there were no orders since July.
Just curious if everyone has been told it’s mandatory? I first was told it isn’t, and just encouraged. But now it’s like they are trying to force everyone to join in
my 5 year anniversary with the company is on Saturday. Does anyone know if the points you get on playup appear on the exact date of my hire or when do i get my points? I asked my store leader and he wasn’t exactly sure either

This new program is awful. The points have the same value as arcade tickets, for the time spent with the company these "rewards" are pitiful. I've been with this company for about 6 years now and I have 5k points, one of my managers has been with this company for 9 years and he somehow has the same amount of points I do. But if every year is 1k points, in 6 years I still don't have enough for a shitty pair of wired earbuds (5.2k) and some of the items on the site go over 100k points leading me to believe you'd have to be with this company 100 years to get something like that unless they gave massive bonus points at some point. Idk it just seems like they're throwing minimal effort into this to almost pretend they give a shit. EDIT: Just checked for myself on something. Went to get a PS Plus 12 month membership and see what my 5k points would take off it. The 12 month is usually $59.99, the points cost for it is 14,800 points, minus my 5k I would still need to pay $49 for it meaning the 5k points is worth about $10.99 or less than half a penny per point. This program is fucked.

"Removed" vs "Deleted" means it was removed by moderators of the subreddit. Who run PlayerUp. However you can clearly see they are covering up multiple unhappy customers who they refuse to help. Their subreddit is FULL of this and this subreddit will stand and people scammed by them will not be silenced. Also multiple posts on /playerup
Got an email from them expressing interest in my music. At first figured it was just more of the same spammy, money-grabbing stuff but gave it the benefit of the doubt just in case and replied. Surprise: I’ve gotten quick personal responses. And apparently there is no cost to me. Too good to be true?
Just curious if anyone else has experienced this. I was a CEL for petsmart and was recently term'd. I was term'd for poor performance according to the manager that notified me of my termination, who btw was not a manager at my store but another store in my district. At first I wasn't told why i was being fired so I asked and was told oh its for poor performance, He wouldn't specify any area specifically that i was performing poorly in just that i was being fired for poor performance. Here's the question though, I had been receiving PlayUp recognition cards every other week at least from our DL, I didn't have any active write ups or coaching conversations on my record as far as I am aware. I know I had room to Improve and was working hard to do so given I had only been in my position for a year and most of the training I received was self taught. I had been working with my petcare team to improve our department and maintain our standards and our pet loss from animals passing was very low. I had been working with my cashiers and other staff on the heart model and our VOC scores were in the top three stores in the district fairly often, our treats conversion was the top in the district for several weeks in a row, If I am being recognized for performing well from our district leader how then can I be fired for performing poorly?
